Isabel Lobo
Isabel is is the third of four daughters by Antonio Lobo. Her dream is to not be forced to get married and to run the estate of Casa Grande (which she does, and does well when her father is in a coma and the foreman "runs away" to the forest at the beginning of season 2). She's a tomboy who uses her intelligence to make the men around her listen to her. She's fiercely loyal to her sisters and has a combination of incredible emotional strength and vulnerability. While a logical woman, she follows the impulses of her heart. Especially when it comes to Cristina.
Cristina
Cristina is Antonio Lobo's favorite prostitute living at the local brothel. At the beginning of the season Antonio sets her aside taking away all of her security. She sets out to get revenge against him. Instead, Isabel teaches her what love is. During season 2 Cristina goes through a great range of emotions, from laying her heart bare to Isabel to going to any lengths to protect the woman she loves.
Side Note: One of the best relationships of this show (besides Crisabel) is the relationship between the sisters. They aren't catty, and don't compete with each other. They protect each other and work together whenever a problem arises. They are great role models for female relationships.
