Crisabel gets caught by the weasel
1:05:15- After clearly spending the night together, Cristina wakes up to catch Isabel watching her.
Cristina: were you watching me sleep?
Isabel: {caresses her face} I could do so for hours.
Cristina: Aren't they expecting you at home?
Isabel: {looks at their joined hands visibly troubled}
Cristina: What's wrong?
Isabel: My family is going through a hard time...and I feel guilty.
Because I've never been so happy in my life.
Cristina: You deserve this and so much more. {Isabel gives a rare smile}
Cristina: Come on, give me a kiss.
Shifts toward Isabel and passions ensue. While this is going on you see someone watching them from the door. No surprise, it's the weasel Sebastian. He enters the room and slams the door to get their attention.
Sebastian: Well, well - today is my lucky day.
Cristina: Get out of here. {Sebastian reaches for Cristina
and Isabel grabs his arm}
Isabel: {Goes into protective mode} Don't even look at her.
Sebastian looks back at Cristina and he tries to go for her again.
Isabel: {pushes his arm away from Cristina} I said don't even
look at her.
Sebastian shifts his attention to Isabel and puts his arm around her neck.
Cristina: {tries to pull his arm away} Stop, Sebastian, Stop!
Sebastian: {takes a step back} Calm down...I'm leaving. I can see you're
doing just find without me. (Duh Captain obvious)
Sebastian leaves and Isabel's tough act dissolves away quickly as she starts to cry. Cristina, unsure of what to do, lays a comforting hand on her knee.
Isabel: What if he tells my father?
Cristina: Calm down, Isabel...
Isabel: How do you want me to calm down? You don't know my
father.
At that statement, you see Cristina become uncomfortable and a bit guilty and a bit worried. After all, she knows personally how dangerous Lobo can be.

57:25 - Sebastian Shows up at Casa Grande as Isabel is coming down the stairs.
Isabel: How dare you come to my house? Get out!
Sebastian: you have beautiful breasts.
{Isabel tries to slap him but he catches her arm.}
Sebastian: I wouldn't do that if I were you. You don't
want to make me angry. By the way, is your father
home? Surely, he'd love to know his daughter's likings.
Isabel: {pulls away} You're a bastard.
Sebastian: Yes. But from now on I'm a rich bastard.
Isabel: I don't have any money. My father would never
believe you. {Lobo walks into view}
Sebastian: Why don't we check?
{Lobo sees Sebastian and walks toward him quickly.}
Lobo: What are you doing in my house?
Isabel: {before Sebastian can reply} He came to pick up some
things he forgot.
Lobo: then take them and leave.
Isabel: That's what I told him.
Lobo: I don't want to see you around here again. {leaves}
{Isabel turns to leave but Sebastian grabs her an pulls her back.}
Sebastian: 100 pesetas, and you'll be able to sleep at
night.
Isabel: I already told you, I don't have money.
Sebastian: But your father does. If you want, I can ask
him for you.
Isabel then goes to her sister Almudena to ask for money but she doesn't have any. So she goes to the Library and steals money out of a fake book. Lobo walks in and Isabel comes up with a complaint about the soldiers occupation of the house to distract him.

00:00- Isabel is waiting anxiously by a tree in the central marketplace when Sebastian mosey's on over to her.
Sebastian: Did you bring the money?
Isabel: Swear that after this you will leave me alone. Swear it.
{The camera switches to the view point of someone watching through screen}
Sebastian: Alright. I swear it.
Isabel: {holds out the money} You better keep your word.
{hands it over and walks off}
Sebastian counts it, and as soon as Isabel rides out of the square walks over to the screen door where Cristina emerges.
Sebastian: here's your share
Cristina: I don't want it
Sebastian: We're not stopping now.
Cristina: I will not blackmail Isabel again!
Sebastian: Ahh...now she's Isabel, and not that Miss. For a simple
whore...you've fallen in love too easily.
Cristina: Just because your an unscrupulous bastard, doesn't mean that
I am too.
Sebastian: What's up? Now you're good? Don't think she'll feel the
same way after learning why you did all this.
Cristina: {pleading} Please...You've taken enough from her. You have to
know when to stop.
Sebastian: I won't stop until she has to sell all her underskirts. And
when she has nothing left, I'll tell her father.
Cristina: {Goes all crazy eyes protecting Isabel} Are you crazy? He'll kill her! You
know how Lobo is!
Sebastian: It seems you've forgotten when that asshole used to kick
your face in. How many times have you dreamed of making him

Lobos on the run
Lobo decides the military occupation of his home is too much. Especially once he realizes the immanent danger Nieves is has with Ugarte around. He steals a piece of parchment and stamps it with Ugarte's official seal so he can forage a pass to get him and his family out of town. The sisters frantically pack one night and set out in their wagon the next morning. They nearly get through the check point when Ugarte shows up. Lobo pulls a gun on him and threatens him to let them go. Ugarte threatens back that his men will kill Lobo and then have their way with his daughters if he doesn't put the gun down. Lobo does and he is quickly arrested.
