Important Crisabel Moment!

56:55 - Isabel is shopping with her Tata, both concerned for her sister who appears to be going insane. She looks around and shes Cristina. Again, she gets caught intensely starting as their eyes lock. Cristina smiles flirtatiously back at her. Tata notices Isabel isn't paying attention and looks a bit "off," she asks if Isabel is feeling well. She uses a headache as an excuse to leave immediately and starts to head for the check out line. Cristina intentionally bumps into her, knocking her basket out of her hand.  Isabel's temper gets the better of her.

Isabel: Are you stupid!? [Tata scolds her with her tone. Much more calmly

she speaks to Cristina again] Watch where you're going.

Cristina: I'm very sorry, señorita. Please accept my apology.

Cristina and Isabel go to grab an errant apple and their hands touch. Their eyes meet awkwardly and Isabel stands up.

Tata to Isabel: What's this about?

Cristina: I told you, I don't feel well.

Isabel leaves as Cristina smiles after her.

If your following the whole series you'll know that Isabel's older sister, Almudena, married a doctor who she believes is trying to kill her. To start this episode, she opens the dome on her breakfast tray to find a dead family cat. By the time she goes and gets help the dead cat has disappeared and Rosa walks in with the family cat alive and well. At 52:00 she speaks with her sisters, Isabel and Nieves, about her suspicions. She wonders aloud if they think she's crazy but Isabel diplomatically tells her she's just nervous about being a 1st time mother.

Ep 4/Cap 17. Traición (Betrayal)

38:20 - Isabel comes out of her house and starts

walking down the street. She sees Cristina leaning

casually against the side of her house and stops

for a split second as if to decide what to do about

it. She keeps walking and makes eye contact with

Cristina as she pulls herself away from the wall. Isabel continues walking and ignores her much to the shock and annoyance of Cristina. Cristina follows:

Isabel: Stop following me. [Cristina ignores the command] I didn't mean to

offend you at the grocery store. Are you Satisfied?

Cristina: [shakes her head and looks intensely into Isabel's eyes] Nope.

They continue walking

Isabel: [turns around fed up] we'll that's enough. Why are you following me? What do you want?

Cristina: I want the same thing you do.

Isabel: [after a uncomfortable silence] I don't want anything...Nothing.

Cristina: Are you sure?

Cristina begins to unbutton her blouse making Isabel even more unsure of herself.

Isabel: [a little breathless] what are you doing?

Cristina: Can't you see? [Cristina takes Isabel's hand and lays it over her heart.] Do you feel the heartbeats? They're for you.

Cristina stares intensely, imploringly into Isabel's eyes (there's a lot of intense staring between these two). Suddenly Isabel pulls her hand back as if it's been burned.

Isabel: Stay away from me! [and she storms off, again. She is one for grand exits.]

Cristina looks a bit hurt and like she was affected by Isabel a bit more than she had thought she would be.

Cristina awaits Isabel!

27:30 - Isabel goes to church to confess her new found feelings for Cristina.

Isabel: Father...I come because I don't have anyone to talk to.

Priest: You did well my child.

Isabel: I have had impure thoughts.

Priest: [Intrigued] What...kind of thoughts?

Isabel: I have felt drawn to a...[long pause] a person who isn't good for me.

Priest: [back to being bored] Oh, Lord. And is that person...bound in holy matrimony?

Isabel: That's not it, Father. [anther long pause, then she says it fast like she's ripping off a band-aid] It's a woman.

Priest: [crosses himself] Holy virgin...for the love of God. Is it only...thoughts or...or has there been something more? Have you touched each other?

Isabel: No. I swear it, father.

Priest: You have to be strong. The devil is tempting you. Stay away from this woman...or you will burn in hellfire for all eternity.

Isabel: But...why me? [She begins to cry]

Priest: Only God knows the answer. But who are you, my child?

At that, Isabel leaves the confessional and goes out to the woods to think (Which means a montage of all the Crisabel moments that led up to this point).

A Catalyst for Crisabel's Future!

48:00 -  Cristina goes into her room to an awaiting Antonio Lobo. Throughout Season 1 she has been his kept woman. Cristina is absolutely adorable, and seductive (at least I'd be completely taken by her). After being haunted by memories of his dead wife, he is very tense and angry. Lobo takes it out on Cristina and hits her.

Lobo: you're not even good at your job. I never want to

                   see you again

Cristina: No, no, no... I won't allow it, no.

Lobo: What won't you allow? You're just a whore.

Lobo leaves her crying in despair because now she's back at square one at the brothel.

45:40 - Meanwhile at casa de Lobo, Nieves, Isabel and Tata are discussing Almudena's mental status. Tata believes she is unstable because she can't let go of her true love Cesar. Nieves states that while Felix (the husband) can't give Almudena what she needs, he's always been good to her. Isabel says that you never really know, because we all have 'shameful secrets'. Nieves points out that Rosa worships him. Isabel counters that Rosa worships Sr. Lobo and thus wins the argument with a smug little laugh.

44:20 - After being set aside by Lobo, Cristina must get back to work. Sebastian is her first customer at the insistence of the madam, Rosario, to Cristina's dislike. This starts off a relationship that plays largely off screen leaving us to figure out what's really going on between them.
